Cornerstone Pilates – Studio Policies

At Cornerstone Pilates, our goal is to create a welcoming space for movement, connection, and growth. These policies help us care for our studio, our instructors, and the community we’re building together.

What to Bring

Grip socks are required for all group reformer classes for the safety and hygiene of our community. Grip socks may be purchased at the studio during check-in or added to your class booking through the Cornerstone Pilates app.

Check-In & Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early for your class.

We encourage clients to arrive a few minutes early to settle in, store personal belongings, and take a moment to arrive before class begins.

A 5-minute grace period is allowed after class begins. Clients arriving more than 5 minutes late may not be permitted to join the class for safety reasons.

Reservations & Booking Windows

A valid class credit or active membership is required to reserve a spot in class.

Reservations must be made through your Cornerstone Pilates account via the app or website.

To change or cancel a reservation without penalty, please do so at least 12 hours before class.

All memberships, class packs, new client specials, and single class credits have a 21-day booking window.

Late Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel your class, please do so as early as possible through your account. We do not accept cancellations via social media or direct messages.

Cancel at least 12 hours before class
No penalty.

Late cancellations (less than 12 hours) or no-shows

• A class credit will be forfeited
• $25 late cancellation fee

Waitlist Policy

If a class is full, we recommend joining the waitlist.

If a spot becomes available, you will receive an email or text notification prompting you to enroll. You will not be automatically added to the class.

Once you enroll from the waitlist, all late cancellation and no-show policies apply.

If you join multiple waitlists, you are responsible for managing your bookings to avoid double reservations.

Membership Terms & Usage

Memberships renew automatically on a month-to-month basis.

By purchasing a membership, you authorize Cornerstone Pilates to automatically charge your card on file for your monthly membership fee.

Memberships and class packages are non-transferable and may only be used by the member associated with the account. Accounts may not be shared.

Membership Cancellations & Holds

To cancel your membership, please email us with 7 days’ notice prior to your next billing cycle.

Membership freezes may be requested for a minimum of 30 days and up to 2 months per calendar year. Exact dates must be provided in writing via email.

Class Credits & Expiration

Membership credits do not roll over and must be used within the 30-day billing cycle.

Guest Bookings (Memberships Only)

12-Class & Unlimited Members may use their memberships to book guests. Each guest booking deducts one class credit from the member’s account.

Guests must complete our studio waiver and follow all studio policies prior to attending class.

12-Class and Unlimited Members receive additional monthly guest passes as part of their membership benefits.

Studio Etiquette

To maintain a calm and welcoming environment for our community:

• Phones should be silenced before class begins
• Please avoid texting or taking calls during class

Photography & Recording

Photos and videos may be taken before or after class, however recording during class is not permitted out of respect for the privacy and comfort of our clients.

Cornerstone Pilates may occasionally capture photos or videos for marketing purposes.

Equipment Care

To preserve the quality and longevity of our reformers and studio equipment:

• Shoes must be removed before entering the studio space
• Only grip socks are permitted on reformers
• Please avoid lotions or oils on hands or feet before class
• Jewelry that may damage equipment should be removed prior to class

Reformer Assignment

Reformers are assigned on a first come, first served basis, unless otherwise directed by the instructor.

Personal Belongings

Cornerstone Pilates is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. We recommend leaving valuables at home or securing them in the designated storage areas.

Class Levels

Cornerstone Pilates offers classes for a range of experience levels. We encourage new clients to begin with Foundations or Beginner classes to become familiar with the reformer and studio cues.

If you are unsure which class is right for you, please reach out and we would be happy to guide you.

Instructor Substitutions

Instructors and class schedules may change when necessary. All classes will continue to be led by a qualified Cornerstone Pilates instructor.

Private Sessions

Private and semi-private sessions require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Late cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the session.

Medical Concerns & Pregnancy

Your safety is our priority.

If you are pregnant, recently postpartum, suspect you may be pregnant, or have any injuries or medical conditions, please notify us prior to or at the beginning of class.

Clients who are pregnant or recently postpartum must receive clearance from a qualified healthcare provider before participating.

While instructors may offer modifications when appropriate, Cornerstone Pilates does not provide medical advice, and participation is at your own discretion. Please discontinue exercise immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or unusual symptoms.

Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final. Classes, private sessions, memberships, and retail purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Age Requirement

Clients must be 18 years or older to attend group classes.
